He pioneered special effects and SFX make-up techniques on such films as Martin, Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, Creepshow, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and Killing Zoe. He directed the remake of George Romero's Night of the Living Dead, numerous episodes of Tales From the Darkside and his own stage production of Bram Stokers Dracula. As an actor, he has worked on such films as Knightriders, both versions of Dawn of the Dead, Quentin Tarantino's From Dusk Till Dawn, as well as The Simpsons and Spy Kids. Tom's life is his art.
